Gopaldhara tea estate
is one of the highest altitude tea garden in Darjeeling situated at the mirik
valley of Darjeeling. It generally starts its first flush harvest slightly late
than the other plantations in this valley. This beautiful plantation has mainly
young clonal bushes and is known worldwide for its exotic quality Darjeeling,
black, green, oolong and white teas.
I am always
thankful to the management of this plantation for frequently sending their tea
samples to us for our tea tasting sessions, though Gopaldhara tea estate has
been continuously making exclusive teas over the years but I personally think
it has been blessed with high quality teas this year.
The moment I
tasted their 1st and pure 1st flush 2014 Gopaldhara ftgfop-1
(special) Ex-1 lot I was really pleased by its quality level and I immediately
booked this excellent lot of tea.
