Goomtee (Muscatel) sftgfop-1 DJ 46 Darjeeling tea 2nd flush 2016

Goomtee (Muscatel) sftgfop-1 DJ 46 Darjeeling tea 2nd flush 2016

This is a very reputed garden of Darjeeling, situated in the Kurseong valley of Darjeeling district. This garden makes some good batches of muscatel Darjeeling tea during the 2nd flush harvest and is known worldwide for its classic Darjeeling taste.

We are really glad to choose this fine batch of tea this year. This batch is plucked from 100% pure china bushes of this prestigious garden of Darjeeling. The dry leaves are sorted small in size and have a dehydrated look which is a sign of a true 2nd flush Darjeeling tea. The dry leaves gives out delicious aroma of dark chocolates, with hints of woody and fruity notes. When steeped for complete 5 minutes the cup gives out golden orange liquor. Each sip reminds of almonds, dark chocolates and leaves a sweet and musky aftertaste on the palate.

This is an overall a very fine quality tea which is perfect as a day starter!
