Teesta
Valley Tea Estate is one of the finest tea gardens in Darjeeling district. It
is mostly famous for its high quality black and green teas. This plantation is
on the eastern region of Darjeeling district. Mostly china bushes are found in
this plantation. This is also one of the highest elevation gardens in Darjeeling,
its slopes ranges from 2500 – 6500 feet above sea level.
This year we
have procured the 1st and one of the best lots from this estate.
This is a very well made tea from the highest elevation
china bushes of this world famous plantation in Darjeeling. The dry leafs are
bold, well twisted and has a very unique flowery aroma in this state. The dry
leafs are slightly dark in colour since it has been plucked from the highest
elevation fields of this plantation.
When steeped
for complete 4 minutes the cup release light yellow liquor. Each sip reminds of
exotic flowers like rhododendrons and jasmine which further ends with a sweet
rosy after taste.
An extremely
flowery and refreshing tea !
