   We had been sampling some of the fine tea samples from this beautiful plantation of Darjeeling from last year. The Manager of this plantation Mr.Prasad has been sending samples of some of his freshly manufactured 1^st flush 2015 teas to us for our reviews and I am really thankful to him. Since we have not offered any teas from this old plantation of Darjeeling for a long time I was also eager to offer a fine batch of Darjeeling tea from this plantation this year.

      We are honoured to offer the 1^st lot of 1^st flush 2015 Darjeeling tea from this plantation.     This is a superb and 1^st batch of premium 1^st flush Darjeeling tea plucked from the young china bushes of this reputed plantation of Darjeeling.

     The dry leafs are large in size and has a very greenish and bright appearance. The dry leafs gives out a very fruity- floral aroma.

       When steeped for complete 4 minutes the cup gives out slightly light yellow /golden liquor. Each sip reminds of exotic spring flowers, slightly nutty which further ends with a slight briskness on the palate.

    We are really happy to offer the 1^st lot from this high elevation garden in Darjeeling. Dooteriah tea estate is one of the tea estates in Darjeeling which has fully matured china bushes. Over the years we have seen this garden making exceptional batches of tea. Our regular clients have enjoyed and appreciated teas from this garden in the past especially the batch from autumn 2013 was my personal favourite.

       I am very much thankful to Mr Yogdeep Gurung (General Manager) of Dooteriah and Kalej valley Tea estates for offering this batch to us. This particular batch of tea was plucked from the high elevation slopes of this plantation painfully by the expert pluckers of this plantation. Selective plucking was done to pluck only the tender most shoots and buds from the bushes to produce this awesome lot of tea.

     This fantastic lot of tea has created a benchmark for high quality teas that will be added to our list of teas later when we get more samples from other gardens.

Gopaldhara Wonder Tea 1st flush 2013 Darjeeling tea

Gopaldhara Wonder tea 1^st flush 2013:

       I am really excited to offer this premium lot of exclusive 1^st flush 2013 Darjeeling tea from the Gopaldhara plantation of Darjeeling. The Gopaldhara plantation in Darjeeling is situated at the Mirik Valley of Darjeeling District. It is situated at an elevation of 3200 feet from the sea level and is famous for its young clonal teas specially made from the AV2 and P312 clonal tea bushes.

         This exclusive tea is a very small batch of tea manufactured after the yellow/winter leafs was cleared from tea bushes. This batch is plucked from the 100% young clonal AV2 clonal bushes of this plantation. The leafs were withered for over 36 hours on the withering beds as a result of which it has a very bright greenish appearance and consists of bold silver tips.

        When this excellent tea is steeped for 3 minutes. It gives out light and bright yellowish/greenish liquor in the cup. Each sip is extremely fruity and with each sip one can immediately feel the hints of mangoes, ripe bananas and pineapples which further ends with a fruity and sweet aftertaste on the palate.

        I am really very thankful to Mr. Rishie Saria (The Owner and a planter) for offering this lot to us and I also congratulate him and his team of tea makers for creating such an excellent lot of tea.

     This is an excellent tea of the 1^st flush 2013 Darjeeling tea harvest and I assure all tea lovers that this excellent batch of tea really stands up to its name Gopaldhara Wonder Tea.A real wonderful tea.
